Reading police have arrested a teen for bringing a loaded gun into a middle school in the city.
The 14-year-old boy is being charged with possession of a firearm by a minor and possession of a weapon on school property on Thursday, according to Reading spokesperson Maritza Loaiza. Loaiza said the teen brought the gun into Northwest Middle School, prompting an evacuation of the school at 10:30 a.m. According to Loaiza, the teen was arrested without incident or injury by school police officers before being handed over to Reading Police Department.Reading Police said the now-arrested teen was reported to school police officers, who
