Sen. Ted Cruz blasted President Joe Biden Thursday for"hiding in the basement" and not going to see the"humanitarian crisis" at the southern border.
Cruz's remarks came hours before the expiration of Title 42, a policy put in place under former President Donald Trump that blocked migrants from crossing the U.S.-Mexico border to prevent the spread of COVID-19.With the expiration of Title 42, many officials fear a mass surge of immigrants will soon flood across the border.
