SOUTH WEBER — A man is barricaded in a home at the Morgan Trout Farm in a standoff following a report of shots being fired.
Stephanie Dinsmore with the Davis County Sheriff's Office said the suspect has fired several shots. Officers directed residents in the area to either evacuate or shelter in place. The incident has been ongoing since about 4 a.m. Wednesday after an initial call involving a domestic dispute, Dinsmore said.
About 50 officers were at the scene around 9 a.m., including from South Davis Metro SWAT, Layton and Bountiful police departments, and Davis and Weber County sheriff's offices. Negotiators have had some communication with the suspect according to Dinsmore. Officers have not returned fire.At this time no injuries have been reported, and there are no known hostages. No officers have been injured.
