An armed suspect being pursued by Mobile County sheriff’s deputies was reportedly killed after crashing the motorcycle he was riding at high speeds.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Bay Road after Jesse Tyler Scott was acting disorderly Tuesday, Fox 10 reported.
A pursuit ensued, but deputies called off the chase when speeds reached upwards of 80 m.p.h., Sheriff Paul Burch told Fox 10. Authorities believed Scott’s ex-girlfriend was at the house he went to armed with a gun. They said they received reports Scott was at the house last week when occupants heard shots fired.
Scott had an outstanding warrant for robbery with Mobile police, deputies learned after the incident.
