Suspect arrested in connection with fatal road rage-related shooting
A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on June 26, 2022, which police say stemmed from road rage.San Antonio police on Wednesday arrested a man they say was involved in a fatal road rage shooting in June 2022.
Martin Trevino, 25, was booked into the Bexar County Jail on charges unrelated to the shooting. He is expected, however, to be charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of a firearm, according to a San Antonio Police Department news release. Police were called to the 5000 block of Hamilton Wolfe on June 26 in response to reports of a shooting in progress. Timothy John Sypher, who called 911, told officers that he had been shot while driving downtown. He said that the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident with an unknown man near East Martin and Soledad streets.
