These days, all the girls are wearing Chloé. Since Chemena Kamali made her debut as creative designer of the French fashion house last fall, she has been getting the stamp of approval from all kinds of A-listers, recently including Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sydney Sweeney. But it’s Kamali’s latest champion, Suki Waterhouse, who may look the most at home in her designs.
Styled by Rob Zangardi and Cassy Meier, the peach maxi gown billowed around Waterhouse like a coral reef, giving her a vintage ’70s-esque aesthetic that recalled her Daisy Jones the Six character, Karen Sirko. The silky dress featured layers of sheer material that culminated in scalloped edges along the hems, slightly resembling the spires of Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia.
