Police on Wednesday announced a student was identified as the suspect behind a bomb threat made against a Palo Alto middle school.
The Palo Alto Police Department received a report about 11:25 a.m. on Tuesday from administrators at Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School, located at 480 East Meadow Drive, who reported a student found writing on the inside of a girls' bathroom stall"indicating that the author intended to bomb the school on Wednesday during the school day," according to police.
Police also noted the threats made against the school were deemed to be not credible following an investigation.
