Stranger Things and Killing Eve stars announced for Alone in the Dark remake
Developers THQ Nordic has confirmed the long-awaited remake will be arriving in October, for PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 5, with's new protagonists, Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood respectively. Players can choose between the two characters.Newly-released game footage has promised to honour the original game's unsettling premise of being trapped inside the walls of a mansion haunted by hostile spirits.
Emily enlists Edward to do some detective work inside the mansion in hopes of finding her missing uncle Jeremy Hartwood — long-time players will certainly remember the Hartwoods from the 1992 game and its film spinoff. The classic game won numerous awards, including at the Consumer Electronics Show / CES, and inspired two live-action films in the 2000s.
