Storms expected late Friday night in Dallas-Fort Worth with heavy rain and strong winds

According to the National Weather Service, the storms should weaken some while moving east but winds of 40 to 50 mph are possible.he has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to activate additional state emergency response resources ahead of the storm threat.
