Rochester NY – Rochester Police are investigating a shooting followed by a motor vehicle crash on the city’s north side.Officers responded to the area of Lux St
Officers responded to the area of Lux Street for a ShotSpotter activation and multiple reports of a vehicle crashing into a nearby home just before 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said evidence of gunfire was found, but no person was injured or property damaged in the incident. A block away, officers discovered a stolen Kia crashed into a home on Ferncliffe Drive. The vehicle sustained major damage in the collision and was left abandoned by the driver. Police said the damage to the home was minor.
The investigation is underway, with police suspecting the two incidents are related. There are no suspects in custody. Police ask that anyone with information call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
