Free agent offensive lineman Garret Greenfield worked out for the Steelers on Monday.

Greenfield was undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft out of South Dakota State. His connection with the Steelers is that while athe played left tackle right next to Steelers guard Mason McCormick. Greenfield competed at the NFL Combine and the East-West Shrine Bowl. While at the NFL Combine, he set the event record for best vertical jump by an offensive lineman at 38 1/2 inches.
Greenfield, 25, was signed by the Seattle Seahawks but was released at the end of training camp. He has not joined a practice squad since that moment. Greenfield can play both tackle spots and kicked inside at times for the Seahawks. Meanwhile, DiRenzo was undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Rutgers. He joined the Carolina Panthers in 2023 but did not sign anywhere following the 2023 season.
