One of their worst offensive nights of the season came at the worst time.

Stanford had one of the best offenses in the country all season long. But one of its worst nights of the season came at the worst time, and now its season is over.

The Cardinal made just 23 shots on 66 attempts from the field and was worse from 3-point range, only making 4-of-23 . Stanford also struggled from the free-throw line, made 8-of-13 . Haley Jones led all Stanford players with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Cameron Brink added 13 points, but no other Stanford player scored more than six. In what was almost assuredly their final games for Stanford, Lexie Hull scored four points 2-for-12 from the field and Lacie Hull had three points on 1-for-4 shooting.

UConn will go on to face the No. 1 overall seed South Carolina in the national championship game after the Gamecocks beat Louisville 72-59.
