Spurs duo Victor Wembanyama and rookie Stephon Castle have a new nickname for their respective jersey numbers and Wemby's other nickname, 'The Alien.'
In case you missed it, the Spurs’ resident alien is having a blast playing up to his stellar new nickname. That would be “ Area 51 ,” the catchy moniker Spurs star Victor Wembanyama shares with rookie guard teammate, Stephon Castle . The tag plays off the players' jersey numbers and the real Area 51 , a highly classified Air Force installation in Nevada long rumored to harbor extraterrestrial technology and other otherworldly secrets.
