Something spooky is brewing in San Antonio : Halloween stores are opening in August. It might seem a little early to be brainstorming costume ideas, but Spirit Halloween says it's opening five locations in the Alamo City area this month. Last year, the costume and decor chain also popped up in early August.
The following locations open today: SA Wonderland, at 4522 Fredericksburg Road Bandera Huebner, at 6808 Huebner Road Stone Oak, at 2610 TPC Parkway, 111 Universal City, at 3150 Pat Booker Road, 112 One location will open later in August: North San Pedro, at 522 Northwest Loop 410 The chain did not immediately respond to a request for comment on when the remaining store will open.
