Spirit Airlines is adding five nonstop destinations out of DFW Airport.
New destinations on Spirit from DFW include flights four times weekly to Columbus, Ohio and flights four times weekly to Kansas City, Mo., and two daily flights to and from San Antonio, with all three routes beginning July 10. Spirit is also adding flights to Memphis three times weekly, and flights to Milwaukee three times weekly, beginning July 11.
-based Spirit has been in the public eye for months now, as JetBlue Airways the budget carrier ended their proposed $3.8 billion merger weeks after a federal judge blocked the the deal. JetBlue ultimately will pay Spirit a $69 million termination fee.from DFW to Boston’s Logan International Airport that it hadn’t flown since the summer of 2020. The carrier is also adding a route from DFW to Oakland, Calif., a flight that it dropped in 2018., Aviation Reporter.
