Have you seen this hedgehog? SonicMovie2 star Ben Schwartz left the little guy at LAX in the hopes fans will take him on a globetrotting adventure. Those who find Sonic are encouraged to snap a picture and share with TravelSonic Happy travels, Sonic!

Sonic the Hedgehog star Ben Schwartz has left a Sonic plush toy at the airport in the hopes it goes on a global adventure with fans. Released in 2020, the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie was a hit, earning over $319 million worldwide. Although proving more divisive among critics, the success of Sonic the Hedgehog led to a sequel getting the green light.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which was released in theaters last week, has also been a hit, earning over $71 million in its opening weekend domestically. The film sees the return of Schwartz as the voice of Sonic and also brings back Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden as Tom, Tika Sumpter as Maddie, and Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone.

WHATS THIS?!? A travel sonic??? Are you in LAX right now and want to take #Sonic on an adventure??? I just left a stuffed sonic at terminal 28 in LAX. Grab it and take it on a ride with you!!! Enjoy!!! pic.twitter.com/3fLuRoDvV9 Schwartz later replies to his tweet and confirms that someone has indeed taken the toy from where he left it.

Considering the tight security at airports and the enhanced cleaning measures in place due to COVID-19, it's entirely possible that Schwartz's prediction is right and that the toy was removed by a sanitation worker or member of LAX's staff. Hopefully, however, the Sonic the Hedgehog toy ended up in the hands of somebody who will follow Schwartz's wishes and bring the toy on a global adventure.
