Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Cast Jim Carrey & Keanu Reeves Lead A Star-Studded Cast Close The cast of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has taken shape, and a lot of the franchise's established players are returning. As with the first two installments, Ben Schwartz will return to voice the titular character, Sonic the Hedgehog. Alongside him, rounding out the iconic trio will be Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Miles"Tails" Prower and Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna.

Shadow will be the main antagonist in the threequel, and his powers will prove to be too much for Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to take on alone. Instead, the trio will need to turn to an unlikely ally as they recruit Dr. Robotnik to their cause of bringing down Shadow.
