Lashlee’s remarks were a masterful hedge-fest in which he said that the SMU played “pretty good football” and “really bad football” within the same sentence. “When they came to SMU, I mean, they weren’t perfect,” Lashlee said. “But they had gone through a game where they threw a couple of picks, or gone through a game they lost or didn’t play well ...
