Here's how Arizona fits into the picture as millennials with money move around the U.S. phoenix
The big, sprawling cities on the coast are no longer the top destinations for young, wealthy people on the move, and Arizona is gaining wealthy millennials as a result.
Arizona had a net gain of 1,437 wealthy millennials, with 4,231 moving in and 2,794 moving out. That was ahead of other top 10 states Connecticut , Tennessee and Oregon to round out the top 10 states. On the flip side, California lost nearly 8,000 wealthy millennials, and for New York the net loss was over 15,700.
