Numerous high school basketball games took place across various classes and areas in Alabama on Tuesday night.

Jon Johnson Tyler Nichols scored 18 points to lead Slocomb over Wicksburg 62-42 in a boys high school basketball action on Tuesday night. Cade Birge added 15 and Wyatt Reeder 11 for the balanced Slocomb (13-3, 1-0) scoring attack in the Class 3A , Area 3 opener. It was the 12th straight win for the RedTops. For Wicksburg (7-11, 0-1), Jamien Ward scored 15 and Cooper Morris contributed 11 points.

Houston Academy 93, Northside Methodist Academy 48The Raiders sprinted to a 32-15 lead in the first quarter and led 57-31 at the half as all 11 players scored for the Raiders (7-4, 1-0 area) in the Class 3A, Area 3 win.
