The upcoming EV will use Recytitan and Technofil, which incorporate recycled materials
Skoda has revealed the interior of the upcoming Elroq EV will offer an assortment of eco-friendly materials. The model will offer four design themes including ones that incorporate Recytitan and Technofil. This means the model's upholstery could be made from recycled water bottles, old fishing nets, or used clothes. Skoda has been teasing the Elroq for more than a year, but we’re finally getting a glimpse inside.
They’ll be joined by reflective yellow contrast stitching. The Lodge design theme is also eco-friendly, but it uses a material called Technofil. It consists of polyester as well as recycled Econyl yarns, which are made from nylon obtained from fishing nets, fabric scraps, and carpeting. https://youtu.be/2kbjWfkW0QY Here, customers will find black fabric that contrasts with light grey artificial leather. Lodge variants will also have orange stitching as well as orange seat belts.
