IFC Films has officially revealed the Skincare release date for Elizabeth Banks' upcoming crime thriller movie.
“Austin Peters has cleverly pumped life into the ‘whodunit’ genre by delivering a riveting thriller dripping with noir,” AMC Networks’ Film Group boss Scott Shooman said in a statement. “Driven by a stellar ensemble cast with a terrific performance by Elizabeth Banks who always commands the screen, we look forward to audiences seeing Skincare in theaters this Summer.
The film is directed by Austin Peters from a screenplay he co-wrote with Deering Regan and Sam Freilich, who are both executive producing. Joining Banks are Lewis Pullman , Luis Gerardo Méndez , Nathan Fillion , and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez . It is produced by Jonanthan Schwartz, Logan Lerman, Andrea Iervolino, and Lady Monika Bacardi.
“A fictional story inspired by true events, Skincare follows famed aesthetician Hope Goldman who is about to take her career to the next level by launching her very own skincare line, but complications arise when rival facialist Angel Vergara opens a new skincare boutique directly across from her studio,” reads the synopsis.
