Each nominated by an established artist in the province, 75 emerging artists, arts training opportunities and arts programs that highlight the future of Saskatchewan’s arts community will receive $750 grants and be featured on“We are choosing to mark our anniversary by honouring the artists of our past and our future. We celebrate you — for all the arts community has been and will become for Saskatchewan,” Jones said.

Since 1948, SK Arts has provided grants, programs and services to the arts community, and makes local art available through itsThe agency is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport and is supported by Sask Lotteries funds through partnerships with SaskCulture.

“While creating opportunities for residents to participate in the arts, SK Arts helps to celebrate the unique voice and contributions of Saskatchewan’s arts community and the importance of art in our everyday lives,” said Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross.
