The Acolyte's tag, "in an age of light a darkness rises," may even suggest this. While all the other younglings are confirming their connection to the light side of the Force, the youngling who sees fire represents an entire tonal shift. That disruption could very well be the beginning of Mae's turn.
Even a powerful, respected Jedi such as Master Sol would be conflicted about needing to fight someone who was once a child studying under their teachings.
