The “Breakaway singer” filed for divorce from her husband of seven years in 2020. After a bitter battle, the pair reached a settlement two years later.
“Do I have a boyfriend? No! And not looking. You know why? I love being single,” the 41-year-old told her followers.
“I have two kids, two dogs, three rabbits, a hamster, multiple jobs — there’s a lot going on,” she explained. “And, you know, you think you’re going to spend the rest of your life with somebody, and you don’t. That’s hard to start over.” When asked about her relationship status Friday, the mother of two admitted she is “not looking” for love right now.While it’s unclear when — or if — Clarkson will be ready to put herself back out there, the singer joked in December 2021 thatDuring an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the songstress admitted that she struggles to see the “red flags” in her partners, which is why she needed to take a break from the dating game.
“I’m always that person that’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t know. Maybe they were having an off day,’” she joked.
