Two suspects allegedly opened fire inside Katy Mills Mall in Houston, Texas, causing panic and terror among shoppers. While no one was injured, bullets shattered a window and pierced a wall. Police are investigating the incident and believe the suspects are young adults.
HOUSTON - Shoppers were left terrified after two suspects allegedly entered the Katy Mills Mall and began opening fire.
"I was terrified. We were just sitting down, relaxing, minding our business and all of a sudden all you heard was ‘boom-boom-boom’ and I was like 'oh my god'," shopper Vriasia Toney said."Everybody ran to the back of the mall," said another shopper. "We started screaming, started crying, you know like shaking."
"We had two subjects enter the mall, through Bass Pro Shop, entered in the common area and did fire rounds off into the mall,” Katy Police Chief Bryon Woytec said. “We located spent casings and live casings. parties did leave the mall."
