With just over a week until Christmas, thousands of shoppers hit stores throughout the Southland in an effort to secure some last minute gifts.
Super Saturday, the last Saturday before Christmas, has traditionally been one of the busiest days for stores in years past, and 2022 seemed to be no different.
The National Retail Federation said that online shopping was expected to spike by 10-to-12 percent this year. Even at 9 p.m., the parking lot of the mall was packed to the brim with people trying to get their shopping done while they still can.
