Life is just like chess, Timothy White likes to remind the young people in Harrisburg he mentors each day.

When he isn’t mentoring, White is helping his mother run AMiracle4Sure, a non-profit providing reentry services for men and women recently released from prison. White served a 5-year prison sentence himself, and got out of prison in 2008. Now he’s a part-owner of the Harris Family Brewery, Pennsylvania’s first Black-owned brewery.
