He didn't disagree with the call, but he plans to never watch the footage of what happened.
With a one-point lead and two seconds left in Saturday night's Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals, the Oklahoma City Thunder players were doing everything to keep the Dallas Mavericks from scoring and winning.
Unfortunately for them, Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander fouled Mavericks forward P.J. Washington on a shot from beyond the arc, which gave him three free throw chances and ultimately, an opportunity to win the game.Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with a team-high 36 points, felt regretful of what transpired on the court in those last seconds.Reporters then asked if he's seen the replay of the foul. Gilgeous-Alexander admitted he never wants to see the footage.
"Nah, I can't look at it," Gilgeous-Alexander continued. "I don't want to look at it. I fouled him clearly because they reviewed it and I fouled him, so there's no need to look at it."The Mavericks will go on to play the winner of the Minnesota Timberwolves–Denver Nuggets series in the Western Conference finals.
