UPDATE: San Francisco police say the armed burglary suspect was shot and killed following a standoff at a Glen Park home Friday.

Police say the suspect armed with a gun entered a store on the 100 block of Bosworth Street Friday afternoon. The person who discovered the suspect was able to exit the home, police said.

Glen Park resident Michela MacFarland says she heard almost the entire confrontation between the man and police, including the moment gunfire erupted. She says she has lived in this neighborhood for several years, but lately she has been growing concerned.
