The news comes nearly a year after the company shuttered its headquarters in Mission Bay.
1 Harrison St., where parent company Gap's Athleta brand is headquartered, will go up for sale or lease.The company confirmed it was listing its 162,000-square-foot office space at 1 Harrison St. for lease or sale, as firstby the San Francisco Business Times. The building currently houses Athleta, an athleisure brand owned by Gap, and was purchased by the parent company in 1999.
SFGATE reached out to Gap for more information regarding the listing and how employees would be affected but did not hear back by the time of publication.its Mission Bay headquarters and consolidated employees into the office building at 1 Harrison St. in the Embarcadero. At the time, the parent company said it wanted to create “flexibility” for its divisions.
