Many parts of North Texas, including Dallas and Tarrant counties, were under threat of severe thunderstorms Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.Shortly after 6 p.m.
, NWS Fort Worth issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern Tarrant County and southwestern Dallas County. The warning was scheduled to expire at 6:45 p.m., according to the NWS Fort WorthQuarter-sized hail was reported near University Park, the weather service announced, adding that damage to cars was possible with Sunday’s storms.
