Published: Jul. 9, 2024 at 9:03 AM AKDTFAIRBANKS, Alaska - Two weeks ago, Senator Dan Sullivan made a series of visits to Fairbanks in order to show Marine Corps Generals the level of community support for the military.

He also spoke with community leaders about health care, housing, and other issues in Interior Alaska. In a June 24 interview with NewsCenter Fairbanks, Sullivan described an educational campaign called “One Pill Can Kill” that he launched, along with Governor Mike Dunleavy.Sullivan cites what he calls the Biden Administration’s “open border” policy as causing much of the influx of fentanyl into the U.S. “We are not immune at all to this giant influx of fentanyl.

The Senator also discussed a specific provision in the currently debated National Defense Authorization Act , which concerns the Biden Administration’s“This year’s NDAA focused a lot on the importance to our national security of critical minerals, and you might remember that for years now, the federal government has not approved, well they approved it during the Trump Administration. They approved it when we passed ANILCA , a road to the Ambler Mining District.
