Selena Gomez revealed she is not able to carry a baby and how she reacted to the reality of knowing that.Gomez got onto the topic of children during an interview with Vanity Fair after talking about her cousin Priscilla's two children, to whom she is godmother.'I haven't ever said this,' she said. 'But I unfortunately can't carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy.
However, going through the chronic illness since at least 2013 led to many mental health struggles, which she spoke about in her Apple+ TV documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.Gomez suffered a mental breakdown in 2016 and was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She spoke on what it was like opening up to the world about her mental health and gave an update on how she is feeling now.'I like to remind people that that is definitely nowhere close to where I am now.
