Selena Gomez went from “Single Soon” to “Love On.” The singer released her first single of 2024 this evening, which strays far from the pre-breakup narrative of her last song. Instead, “Love On” captures the joy of flirting and finding new love. Gomez teased the French influence of “Love On,” posting a preview video featuring couples kissing and French narration about discovering tender love. She also released the single at midnight Paris time, departing from her usual 12 A.M. ET release time.
