Gerard Butler, Nick Frost, and more are putting on their viking caps for the live-action remake of the DreamWorks classic., have grossed over $1 billion at the global box office — Universal is producing the very first live action remake of a DreamWorks animated movie. Dean DeBlois, who directed the original 2010, will helm the live action remake, currently set to release on June 13, 2025.
, is set to play Gobber the Belch, the village blacksmith who mentors Hiccup and his friends in their dragon-training escapades., will portray Fishlegs Ingerman, an earnest young dragon lover who’s friendly with Hiccup. Christopher Mintz-Plasse voiced Fishlegs in the animated films.on Netflix, will play Ruffnut Thorston, one-half of a duo of irritating twins that trains dragons alongside Hiccup and Astrid.
