Writer-director Quentin Tarantino has a simple message for those criticizing his movies: “See something else.”
While appearing on HBO Max's Who's Talking With Chris Wallace, Tarantino was asked for his response to critics accusing him of including “too much violence” and using “the N-word too often.”
"You should see [something else]," Tarantino said, according to Variety."Then see something else. If you have a problem with my movies then they aren't the movies to go see. Apparently, I'm not making them for you." The award-winning director recently said he believes his 2019 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is his best film.“For years people used to ask me stuff like that,” Tarantino said. “And I would say something like, ‘Oh, they’re all my children.’ I really do think Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my best movie.”
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is Tarantino’s ninth feature film and received 10 nominations at the 2020 Oscars. Actor Brad Pitt won the Academy Award for Supporting Actor.
