A 72-year-old man died in a two-alarm blaze at a Secaucus apartment complex early Monday morning, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said.
John Meisenburg, a resident at 220 Meadow Lane, was found with serious injuries inside a third-floor apartment as Secaucus firefighters battled the fire that was initially reported at 11:53 p.m. He was taken to Hudson Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:52 a.m. Monday.
