Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald and his wife Stephanie have their first child!
Mike Macdonald started 2024 by becoming a first-time NFL head coach. He’s ending 2024 as a first-time father. At Wednesday’s press conference, the Seattle Seahawks coach announced that his wife Stephanie gave birth to their son, Jack David Macdonald, on Tuesday night. “Well I guess the cat’s out of the bag by now,” Macdonald opened. “Steph had our boy last night and both are happy and healthy.
” Stephanie, a former NFL cheerleader, went into labor earlier in the week, which is why assistant head coach Leslie Frazier handled the usual Monday press conference in Mike’s place. “I want to thank and the rest of the people for holding down the fort and I really appreciate all their attitudes and everything,” Macdonald said. Coach Macdonald revealed his wife’s pregnancy just before the start of the regular season, indicating that they were expecting in December.
