But as much as Williams' hard-nosed running style may endear him to the coaching staff, he will have to be much more effective handling third down back responsibilities than he was in college for him to win a roster spot. Competing against Kenny McIntosh and other incoming undrafted players such as George Holani who have a much better resume as receivers and pass protectors, he will have to prove he's better in both aspects than numbers and film suggest.
