Life on Mars is asking for help to cover costs of re-occurring damage to their business.
“Life On Mars has made the decision to not give up and continue to fight the good fight to stay open but we will need your help,” the business’ website says. “Small businesses like ours have had a lot to contend with in the last few years and the continued vandalism, tagging, broken doors, and windows leave us no choice but to ask our community to join us in countering all this bad stuff.
The money will go toward fixing past and future destruction and upgrading protection, like getting overnight security, the business says. An Instagram post by Life on Mars says they are deciding to be loud for the sake of all small businesses struggling right now.
