We had Chopper 7 flying over the scene.

The victims told police their car was stolen and luckily it had a tracking device on it. Police were able to track the car to Capitol Hill and at that point, they say the suspect drove onto I-5 and then to the U-District.

Police say the suspect was driving the wrong way on the Ave and hit a car. After that, an SPD patrol car pinned him in.Witnesses told us the incident was scary but not surprising for the area. Police investigating a car theft the led to a collision in the 4500 block of University Way NE. No injuries reported at this time. Please stay out of the area. Expect traffic delays.
