“Seattle schools estimated our enrollment at 24 lower than what it ended up being so they shorted us one teacher,” said Liz Abersold, a parent of kids at Adams Elementary School. The district did refer KOMO News to its frequently asked questions page that they updated on October 12, a day after KOMO News started asking for answers, but it still does not answer the question why?
That explanation only leads to more unanswered questions, for instance, will those larger classrooms, or rooms with more than one grade in it, have additional helpers?
