Seattle Mariners 2024 fourth-round draft pick Josh Caron has been putting up solid numbers in his first month of pro ball with the team's Low-A affiliate Modesto Nuts.

Caron, a catcher drafted in the fourth round out of Nebraska, checked a milestone off the bucket list and hit his first professional home run on Tuesday. His first long ball was a memorable one — a three-run go-ahead shot.Caron batted .306 with 16 home runs and 65 RBIs in his final season with Nebraska in 2024.
