As if the injuries weren’t mounting up enough for the Seahawks.
The Seattle Seahawks added two players to Thursday’s Week 7 injury report for the Atlanta Falcons game. Unfortunately, it looks like the Seahawks will need either Jason Peters or rookie Michael Jerrell—I’d rather see Jerrell, of course—to start in place of Stone Forsythe, who’s missed two days of practice with a hand injury. It’s not looking good for either Tre Brown or Riq Woolen for Sunday, leaving the Seahawks very undermanned at corner.
The hope is that this is just another precautionary measure regarding Lockett, who’s sat out his fair share of practices over the past couple of seasons but has only missed one game. Third-string running back Kenny McIntosh was a DNP with a foot injury, although it’s not like he’s been getting any playing time when healthy. If you want good news, Byron Murphy II seems to be inching closer to making his return to the field after practicing for the second day in a row.
