Seattle’s outstanding wide receiver duo of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett produce points on the field and sales off the field.
Last week, the NFL Players’ Association released its list of the top 50 players in merchandise sales from March 2023 through the end of February 2024. If you’re curious as to how the NFLPA compiles these rankings, here is an explanation: You better believe there was Seattle Seahawks representation! DK Metcalf topped the Seahawks leaderboard at No. 24 overall, ahead of Houston Texans quarterback C.J.
Former New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones took a major tumble from the previous year but still hung on at 50th. Some very questionable purchasing decisions were made. Legendary former Seahawks linebacker and current Washington Commander Bobby Wagner came in at 35th, no doubt buoyed by his return to Seattle last season for what proved to be a one-year reunion. Lastly, Russell Wilson’s last year with the Denver Broncos saw him remain among the NFL’s best at sales, coming in at 42nd.
