”Woods, who in 2009 was the last player to claim golf’s top spot for an entire calendar year, made the comment in early December as Scheffler was about to win his ninth title in 2024, the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.this second title at the prestigious Masters Tournament, an Olympic gold medal, the Players Championship and the FedEx Cup. He has earned more than $60 million this year in prize and bonus money.Scheffler is known for his mental toughness, consistent play and lack of, well, mistakes. He was arrested, handcuffed and put in the back seat of a police car, images of which along with his mugshot went viral.
