One man was wounded and two people are in custody after a shooting Thursday afternoon in Gloucester County, according to police.
The shooting occurred just before 2 p.m. on West Adams Street in Paulsboro, according to borough police Chief Gary Kille. “Individuals fled from the area,” Kille reported. “We did locate two people in the Billingsport section, around the 500 block of Greenwich Avenue.”The victim was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.Area schools were briefly placed on lockdown, but normal operations have since resumed, the chief said.
