Showers will arrive from west to east this afternoon
It's a gloomy start to the day. You may run into patchy drizzle over the next few hours. Morning temperatures are in the upper 40s. Clouds hang tough this afternoon, due to onshore easterly flow. Ahead of a cold front, scattered showers will move in from west to east. Expect the showers to arrive west of the Susquehanna River between 2 to 4 p.m. Showers will arrive in eastern counties between 4 to 6 p.m.
Tonight, showers will end, as the cold front passes. Lows will fall to 50 degrees. Look for clearing early Saturday, then a mix of clouds and sun Saturday afternoon. There will be a stiff northwesterly breeze, with highs around 64. Sunday will also feature partly sunny skies, breezy conditions, and highs near 60.Earth Day looks pleasant, with plenty of sunshine and seasonable highs in the mid-60s. We'll see increasing clouds on Primary Day, with warmer highs in the upper 60s.
