Prime Video releases the first poster for Sausage Party: Foodtopia, which premieres on the streaming service this summer.

The film was a huge box office success for Sony, bringing in approximately $141.3 million at the global box office off an estimated budget of $19 million.
“Life is good for all the food items that occupy the shelves at the local supermarket,” the synopsis for the 2016 movie reads. “Frank the sausage, Brenda the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco and Sammy Bagel Jr. can’t wait to go home with a happy customer. Soon, their world comes crashing down as poor Frank learns the horrifying truth that he will eventually become a meal. After warning his pals about their similar fate, the panicked perishables devise a plan to escape from their human enemies.
The series is written by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. Hunter and Shaffir also executive produce Sausage Party: Foodtopia alongside Rogen, Vernon, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, Andrew Millstein, Sausage Party: Foodtopia premieres on Amazon Prime Video on July 11, 2024.
